About the game
It used to be politicians who control the world. Now it's the megacorporations from their skyscraper fortresses, enforcing their rule with armies of cyborg assassins.
On the Street, Boostergangs roam a shattered urban wilderness, killing and looting. The rest of the world is a perpetual party, as fashion-model beautiful techies rub biosculpt jobs with battle-armored roadwarriors in the hottest clubs, sleaziest bars and meanest streets this side of the Postholocaust. The Future never looked so bad.
But YOU can change it. You've got interface plugs in your wrists, weapons in your arms, lasers in your eyes, bio-chip programs screaming in your brain. You're wired-in, Cyberenhanced and solid state as you take it to the fatal Edge where only the toughest and coolest can go. Because you're CYBERPUNK.
Rules & Books needed.
You'll need the Savage Worlds rules and the CP 2020 conversion available here. (Note: This link will always lead to the most recent version should there be any updates.)
The original CP 2020 book is optional since I'll take some references to it, but you won't need the book to be able to follow the game. And I'll be happy to give out-of-character explanations.
Update in the file
Did some minor revisions in the text. Should one of you play a Netrunner, I'll give the Netrunner rules another glance-over and I might use some of the material available in the SciFi-Toolkits. We'll see.
Netrunner Rules
Since Harald plays a Netrunner, I went over the rules for them and re-read the SciFi-Gear Toolkit. There isn't a definitive ruleset yet, I'll work something out with Harald.
